Accommodation
Derby’s halls of residence are owned and run by the University so you can be sure of good quality accommodation – a real home from home. Award-winning halls are the ideal place for you to live during your time at University and the good news is that you can live in halls throughout your studies if you want to.
Most first-year students live in halls. They’re just a short walk from our campuses and a great place to make friends and settle into University life. Halls offer you safe, good-value accommodation in convenient locations with some added extras, like an awesome events programme and weekly cleaning service.
Derby guarantee a room in halls to all first-year and overseas students who make the University of Derby their first choice and apply for accommodation by July each year.
